Thank you for taking an interest in our comprehensive Fixed Wing Flying Training and Flight Experience programmes at the Enniskillen Flying School. We are situated on the ground floor of the main airport building, just within the main entrance doors. With the exception of public holidays and special Airport event days; we are open Tuesday through to Sunday inclusive, throughout the year.

As a professional Flying Training organisation, we are registered with the Civil Aviation Authority for the purpose of providing Flight Training for the PPL (A) and the NPPL licence and all of the corresponding Ground Examinations and Tests.

We use Katana DA20 and the Archer PA28 dual control aircraft for training students for their Private Pilots Licence (PPL) and the National Private Pilots Licence (NPPL). The four seat Archer PA28 is additionally used for the ‘Night Flying’ and ‘I.M.C.’ training courses. These aircraft are all currently available.

All of our aircraft comply with the necessary safety and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) requirements, and carry the appropriate insurance for training and carrying members of the public. The training programmes follow the JAA-FCL syllabus for PPL training and the AOPA produced syllabus for the NPPL course.

We encourage pilots who have acquired their PPL licence, to consider both the ‘Night Flying’ or I.M.C. courses, but these are not mandatory. We also hope they will ‘hire’ our aircraft for their private use. Further details and costs for each type of programme are listed on the following pages.

For students intending to become Private Pilots via our training courses, we offer a variety of discounted rates for payments made in advance available upon request.
